The mission of the Cashiers Insurance Agency, Inc. is to create and operate a profitable business with potential growth and to secure the continuous trust of our customers while maintaining good rapport with the community. Understanding all the terms, exclusions, and perils of servicing our cutosmers are of the utmost importance to this agency. In this endeavor, we pledge to provide the means by which all agents and employees can broaden their knowledge of the insurance industry in order to reach our goals of operating a Profitable Business with Growth in mind while looking out for the "Best Insterest of Our Customers" and Employee Spirit.
History
In 1973, Harry Babb established Cashiers Insurance Agency, Inc. as the first insurance agency in Cashiers, NC. Our first office was the second oldest building in town with no running water or heat at that time. In 1975, we moved to the old Fowlers Hardware building. In 1984, we purchased land in the newly developed Chestnut Square on East 64, east of the Crossroads, and built our current office. Harry retired in 2002 and his three remaining children purchased the agency.
What started out as a one-man operation has grown to seven employees and we thank the people of Cashiers, Glenville, and Sapphire area for their trust in CIA to handle their insurance needs over the years. We pride outserves on out ethical standards of loyalty and honesty to our customers, insurance providers, and community and we look forward to serving your growing needs!
